OUR FOUNDER
Paolo Leonetti – Principal Auditor (IRCA) & CQI Professional
SBGS is led by Paolo Leonetti, an IRCA-accredited Principal Auditor and CQI professional, with extensive experience in ISO consulting, audit preparation, and compliance assurance activities. After completing nautical studies and training at the Naval Academy in Livorno, he gained solid operational experience serving on military, cargo, and passenger vessels, developing first-hand expertise in shipboard operations, safety management, and regulatory requirements. He later spent more than ten years working with a leading Genoese shipping company, further strengthening his competence in corporate management systems and process optimisation.
In 2014, Paolo founded Marine Surveyor Consultant and subsequently Swiss Business Group Solution, focusing on ISO consulting and auditing for organisations seeking robust, effective systems driven by continual improvement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Systems Management and is an IRCA-accredited Principal Auditor across multiple schemes, providing audit services and certification readiness support in both maritime and onshore environments. He also collaborates with several recognised Flag Administrations, supporting audits, inspections, and compliance activities through a practical, risk-based approach.
